A pair of mummy jeans, 3 outfits
Luckily, fashion is still not ready to bring the skinny jeans trend back, and the “wider the trouser the better” is still on. I own skinny and wide leg jeans as well, plus a few other jogger looking or smart suit trousers that have flares and wide legs, but I prefer wearing my wide leg trousers. It’s a question of comfort.
So I pulled out my mummy jeans (again – read the other posts here and here) as they are essentials in my wardrobe and decided that in the name of sustainable fashion, I will create three looks with them.
The first look is a casual one – t-shirt and jeans. I stayed bare feet because I wanted to make you imagine the shoes you would add. Knowing me, I would opt for a colourful pair of trainers.
The t-shirt in the outfit is a special piece in my wardrobe. I got it for my birthday from a friend and she made it herself. She said she chose the parrot, because it’s colourful and speaks a lot. If you know me you know me.
The second look is a smarter look – because shirts are smart, and the boots I am wearing are perfect for a smart look. They are comfortable and a basic piece in my wardrobe. And I love polka dots.
The third look is my fashion event spent with drinking cocktails, eating cupcakes and enjoying ourselves talking about fashion. The silk shirt is from H&M sales and you probably have seen it with the matching trousers in one of my very classy outfits. This time I wore it with mummy jeans and not so matching blue sandals. I wanted something that doesn’t really belong but it works.
Many thanks for photos for Brant 🙂
