It’s from Dress For Success Scotland
Originally a Topshop Unique coat.
I had my very first photo shoot with Cari. She is a Gossip Girl fan too. I have watched the series for at least 5 times from the first until the last episode. I love the story, I am in love with Chuck Bass (and Ed Westwick too) and it is the perfect background noise because whenever I take a quick look at my laptop, I know where the story is and I obviously watch my favourite episodes from the beginning till the end.
The outfit I am wearing would perfectly fit in the series. I would be in the Blair’s B*tches Squad. I tried to make a resting b*tch face look more serious and more like those girls, but I failed, however I have a Blair Waldorf worthy quote:
“I can’t do the resting b*tch face now, but I can do the b*tch”
I definitely made Cari’s (my photographer) day with that. She also loved that we found the perfect background for the photos to create an autumn street style photo shoot. We just did not expect that we will both have the feeling that we are in New York’s Upper East Side.
I love simplicity, I said before that my outfits are usually “less is more” with a little bit of colour. This bright pink long coat was definitely something anyone spotted on the busy streets of Glasgow. I went for slim jeans this time, because I actually prefer these over skinny jeans. I wore my high heeled boots. Let’s call them vintage H&M because I can’t remember if I got them in 2014 or before – It’s definitely not a brand new one.
The t-shirt is brand new. It’s from a Glasgow Based designer, By Colette. I met Colette on my sewing classes; after I found her Instagram page (check it here ) I had to get the t-shirt she designed for the Scottish Association for Mental Health. I agree with everything the t-shirt says and I wish the whole world understood how much these simple words mean. Mainly the “Be Quiet” part.
“This is he ‘Spotted’ photo” – Cari
Probably neither Queen Blair Waldorf nor Serena VDW would wear this but this is a post about me and my style, with a little inspiration from my forever favourite series. Okay I love Game of Thrones just as much but I have watched that only 3 times from beginning until the end. GG won.
This is me enjoying autumn in the brightest colours and enjoying the attention my pretty coats gets while everyone else is killing street style in black, brown, burgundy and everything else that looks like autumn. No judgement. I think I wear most of those colours during 60% of autumn as well.

P.S: I started working on the autumn/winter style posts and I am getting better at wearing coats, so I decided to do as many post as possible. Don’t miss anything: Dóra’s
